I love to explore the world around me and particularly love digging deep into the Word of God and seeking deeper intimacy with Yahweh. For over 25 years I've dabbled in small business ventures; entrepreneurship just seems to stick to me. Currently, I operate a vintage typewriter business with my husband, Rob. Additionally, I started a magazine, Paola Lane Magazine, in 2021 (you can read the story here) and out of that, a small membership/mentoring community is naturally progressing (much to my heart's delight!). Around the same time I started the magazine, I began studying early Celtic history, particularly that of Celtic saints (my heritage is Celtic!). During my studies, I learned about the desert Abbas & Ammas and the beautiful concept of the AnamCara (Soul Friend). It is something I deeply embrace; hence, I began to call myself AnamCara Laura, as part of what I know is my calling to disciple—walk alongside—others as they also seek matters of the Kingdom of God.
